1. About Us

Seek MyBooks is run by Mina Ishikawa, a sole proprietor based in Japan. In these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Seek MyBooks. "You" means anyone who visits our website, plays our free puzzle games, or buys from us.

These Terms cover our online store at seek-mybooks.com, our free online puzzle games, and our free digital gifts.

2. Accepting These Terms

By using our website, playing our games, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

3. Who Can Order

To place an order, you must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live.
You agree to give us true and complete information, such as your name, email and shipping address.
You may buy a product as a gift for someone else.

4. Our Products

We sell jigsaw puzzles with 30 pieces. The finished puzzle is 14" × 11".

Each puzzle is made to order. Production and shipping are handled by our partner, Printify.
We try to show colors and images as clearly as we can. Colors on your screen may look a little different from the printed puzzle.
Our puzzles are an activity for enjoyment. They are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat or prevent any condition.

5. Orders and Pricing

Prices, taxes and shipping costs are shown at checkout before you pay.
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we confirm the order by email.
We may cancel an order if a product is not available, if there is an error in the price or description, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel, we will give you a full refund.
We may change prices at any time. Changes do not affect orders we have already confirmed.

6. Cancelling Your Order

You can cancel your order before it goes into production. Orders go into production automatically soon after they are placed, so please email us as soon as possible.
If your order has not gone into production, we will cancel it and give you a full refund.
Once production has started, we cannot cancel your order, because your puzzle is already being made.

7. Shipping

We currently ship to the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. We do not ship to the United Kingdom or the European Union at this time.
Because each puzzle is made after you order, it needs time to be produced before it ships. You can find estimated production and delivery times in our Shipping Policy. These are estimates, not guarantees.
If your order will be delayed, we will let you know by email. If it has not shipped yet, you can cancel it for a full refund.
Orders shipped from another country may be charged customs duties or import taxes. These are set by your country and may need to be paid by you.
Please check that your shipping address is correct. We cannot be responsible for orders sent to a wrong address that you gave us.

8. Returns and Refunds

Because every puzzle is made just for you, we cannot accept returns or exchanges if you change your mind.

If your puzzle arrives damaged, has a defect, is the wrong item, or does not match its description:

Contact us within 30 days of receiving it.
Include your order number and photos of the problem.
You can choose a free replacement or a refund. You do not need to send the puzzle back.

If your order does not arrive, please contact us. We will help you track it, and send a replacement or give you a refund if it is lost.

For full details, please see our Refund Policy. This does not affect any rights you have under the consumer laws of your country. In some countries, such as Australia and New Zealand, you may still have rights after 30 days.

For customers in Australia: Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

9. Free Puzzle Games

We offer free online jigsaw puzzles that you can play in your web browser.

Some puzzles are unlocked when you sign up with your email address and agree to receive our email newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time.
We remember your unlocked puzzles with a cookie in your browser for about 13 months. If you clear your cookies or use a different browser or device, choose "Restore access" and enter the same email address you signed up with.
If you are signed in to your account on our store, you can play without signing up.
The games are free. We may change, pause or stop any game or puzzle at any time.
The games are for your personal enjoyment only.

10. Free Digital Gifts

We sometimes give away free ebooks through our gift ("present") pages, which we share on our YouTube channel. These are gifts. They are not for sale.

Free ebooks are for your personal use only.
Please do not share, copy for others, upload, resell or give them away.

11. Your Privacy

12. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, games and gifts belongs to us or to the people who license it to us. This includes puzzle images, artwork, text, ebooks, logos and design.

You may not copy, sell or use this content for business purposes without our written permission.
Buying a puzzle gives you the physical puzzle. It does not give you any rights to the image itself.

13. Acceptable Use

When you use our website and games, please do not:

break any law;
try to hack, damage or overload our website or games;
use bots or automated tools to collect content or create sign-ups;
sign up with someone else's email address without their permission;
copy or resell our content, games or gifts.

We may block access for anyone who breaks these rules.

14. Disclaimers

We work hard to keep our website, games and information correct and available. But we provide them "as is" and "as available". We cannot promise they will always work without errors or interruptions.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the consumer laws of your country that cannot be excluded.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the extent allowed by law, if we make a minor mistake (not on purpose and not through gross negligence):

we are not responsible for indirect losses that were not reasonably foreseeable;
for any order, our total responsibility is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

These limits do not apply to loss caused on purpose or by our gross negligence, to death or personal injury, to fraud, or where the law does not allow them. They also do not limit any rights or remedies you have under the consumer laws of your country, including the Australian Consumer Law and the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The courts of Japan may hear any disputes.

If you are a consumer, you still have the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts of your own country.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new Terms on this page, with the date they take effect, before they apply. The Terms that apply to your order are the ones shown when you placed it.
